KUALA LUMPUR: A Singaporean was charged at the magistrate's court with criminal intimidation by making an anonymous call to an emergency call operator with intent to cause alarm.
Nordin Ibrahim, 40, a cook, allegedly made the call to Zalehah Wahid, 53, a 999 emergency call taker, at Dang Wangi at 2.47am on July 25. He claimed trial.
Prosecuting officer Chief Inspector D.R. Ghanthi Nathan proposed bail at RM10,000 but magistrate Siti Shakirah Mohtarudin set bail at RM7,000 in one surety.
