Report lodged over Nik Aziz 'sodomy' picture

KOTA BARU: Kelantan Pas yesterday lodged a police report against a blogger using the pseudonym "jeffrydamien09" who had posted pictures of Pas spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat being sodomised by opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The report was lodged by its security committee secretary, Major (Rtd) Mohamad Ibra-him, at the district police station in Pengkalan Chepa about noon.

Mohamad was accompanied by his lawyer Hisham Fauzi and Pas supporters.

Hisham said the party lodged the report so the authorities could take action against the blogger for slandering Nik Aziz, who is Kelantan menteri besar.

Hisham, who is state Pas Youth vice-chief, said the party realised the pictures were posted on the Internet on Saturday.

He urged police to investigate the case immediately.

In Machang, Nik Aziz said the allegation showed that Malaysians' morals were low.

"The latest accusation is shocking and I am ashamed. This slander is over the limit and showed that the blogger just wanted to show off to the public his skills in merging pictures.

"Unfortunately, he has misused his talent and if the party had not lodged the report, I would have done it myself."
