THE Red White Sangari Invitational Kart Prix at the Sepang Go-Kart Circuit this weekend will set the tone for not just the Rotax World Finals in Egypt in twoweeks, but provide a picture of what to expect next season as well.
Rotax Max Asia and Malaysia junior champion Nabil Jan Al Jeffri will start as the favourite entering his final junior class race and will be up for an interesting battle against Mohammad Sharif Rohardjo of Indonesia.
Brazil Cup champion Victor Franzoni will line up as one of the favourites in the junior class, which also features Australians Jaie Jobson and Macauley Jones.
Asian Karting Open Championship (AKOC) KF3 class runner-up Rahul Raj Mayer will be M a l ay s i a ’s other big hope in the junior class, along with Iru1 Racing’s new signing Timothy Yeo, who has been set a top five finish as a target in his maiden race with the team.
The senior class will see Brazil’s Rotax national champion Vinicius Perdigao starting as favourite, with a star-studded local line-up led by Farriz Fauzy, Syafiq Ali, Imran Zaharias Shaharom and Rotax Max Challenge Malaysia senior champion Ryan Mumford looking to turn the tables.
