A RESIDENT has urged the authorities to repair a damaged road sign at Section 8 in Shah Alam.
Kamaruddin Hassan told Actionline that the Jalan Liku A 8/A sign had tilted and was leaning against a tree, making it barely visible to motorists.
“It will be difficult for visitors or motorists to find the road. Road signs are installed guide motorists but I doubt this damaged sign is useful to anyone.”
Kamaruddin said he
“I noticed the tilted road sign in early January and notified the local authorities.
“It is July and nothing has been done to correct the sign.”
ACTIONLINE:
A Shah Alam Municipal Council spokesman told Actionline that the council’s engineering department would repair the road sign.
“The engineering department will carry out repair work within this month. We apologise to motorists for any inconvenience caused,” he said.
