THE uneven pavement outside Wisma Persekutuan in Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Terengganu, is endangering pedestrians, especially at night.
Firdaus Ibrahim, 32, of Gong Badak, said he tripped on the pavement as he was walking to the Sultan Ismail Nasaruddin Shah Stadium to watch a soccer match recently.
“I lost my balance and fell to the ground. Part of the pavement had caved in. My handphone also fell to the ground. Luckily, my arms were only lightly bruised.”
Firdaus’s friend Tasnim Yusof, 29, said there were two holes on the pavement.

Kuala Terengganu mayor Zulkifli Abu Bakar said he would send a team to evaluate the problem and have the caved-in portion repaired.
