Public Mutual declares distributions of RM502m for 11 funds

KUALA LUMPUR: Public Bank's wholly-owned subsidiary, Public Mutual Bhd, has declared distributions of over RM502 million for 11 funds, for the financial year ended May 31, May 2017.

In a statement today, it said the funds were Public Far-East Select Fund (2.00 sen per unit), Public Regional Sector Fund (2.00 sen per unit), Public Global Select Fund (2.00 sen per unit), Public China Titans Fund (2.00 sen per unit), Public Dividend Select Fund (0.30 sen per unit) and Public Ittikal Fund (3.00 sen per unit).

The others are Public Islamic Select Treasures Fund (1.50 sen per unit), Public Islamic Equity Fund (1.00 sen per unit), Public Balanced Fund (2.00 sen per unit), Public Select Bond Fund (3.75 sen per unit) and PB ASEAN Dividend Fund (2.00 sen per unit).

Public Far-East Select Fund, Public Regional Sector Fund, Public Global Select Fund, Public Ittikal Fund, Public Islamic Select Treasures Fund, Public Islamic Equity Fund, Public Balanced Fund and Public Select Bond Fund are all eligible under the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Members Investment Scheme.

"Public Series of Funds is distributed by Public Mutual's unit trust consultants while PB Series of Funds are distributed via Public Bank branches, nationwide," it said.

Public Mutual is Malaysia's largest private unit trust company with more than 100 unit trust funds under its management.

As at end-April 2017, the total fund size managed by the company was RM75.2 billion. -- BERNAMA
