KUALA LUMPUR: Axiata Group Bhd announced that its unit edotco PK has completed the the US$88.9 million (RM381.0 million) acquisition of Tanzanite Tower Private Ltd (TTPL)today
A Bursa Malaysia filing by Axiata said that edotco PK has completed the acquisition of Tanzanite Tower via the subscription and the acquisition of the Subscription Shares and Sale Shares as per its earlier announcement on June 20 this year.
"In accordance with the terms of the SPA, TTPL had on the completion date entered into a Share Pledge Agreement with HB Offshore Investments Limited (HBOIL), the owner of wi-tribe Pakistan Limited (wi-tribe), provider of wireless broadband services in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, and Faisalabad," Axiata wrote in its Bursa announcement.
