KUALA LUMPUR: Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) has appointed Datuk Ahmad Ruzman Ahmad Razali as TH Travel & Services Sdn Bhd's chief executive officer effective from January 4.
Ahmad Ruzman, who holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in operations management from Northern Illinois University in the United States, has over 30 years of experience in TH group.
His career initially began at TH Travel in 1988 as aviation manager until he rose through the ranks and assumed the position of senior general manager (operations).
In 2004 Ahmad Ruzaman was seconded to TH and subsequently appointed as a permanent staff with his last position as general manager (domestic operations).
Ahmad Ruzman said although the tourism industry was facing uncertainties due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he would do his best to ensure the continuity of TH Travel and its preparedness in the face of other challenges in the future.
"I am grateful for the appointment to lead TH Travel which has proven to be an exemplary institution in providing Hajj and Umrah services as well as domestic and international tour packages," said Ahmad Ruzman.
