Pansar incoming subsidiary wins UNIMAS teaching hospital, primary healthcare centre construction job

KUALA LUMPUR: Pansar Bhd's incoming subsidiary Perbena Emas Sdn Bhd (PESB) has been awarded a contract for the design and construction of UNIMAS Teaching Hospital in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak for RM485.99 million.

To recap, minister of works Datuk Sri Fadillah Yusof had on 10 March handed four contracts totalling RM600 million comprising building and infrastructure works and facilities for several educational institutions in Malaysia.

Amongst the four contracts, PESB won the UNIMAS teaching hospital and primary healthcare centre construction job, which brings the company's total outstanding order book to approximately RM2 billion from RM1.46 billion as at February 2021.

PESB is presently undertaking a corporate exercise which would result in the company becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pansar, which specialises in engineering and construction.

The Pansar group of companies has been spearheading the advancement of infrastructure in Malaysia for 60 years.
