KUALA LUMPUR: Haily Group Bhd's subsidiary, Haily Construction Sdn Bhd, has bagged a RM23.99 million construction contract from Gunung Impian Development Sdn Bhd to complete a residential development project in Johor.
In an exchange filing today, Haily said it had on September 20, 2021, accepted a letter of award (LA) from Gunung Impian for the construction and completion of 145 units single-storey terrace houses, 14 units single-storey terrace houses, one single unit chamber Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) sub-station and one double unit chamber TNB sub-station.
The development is located at Zone 10B1, Taman Impian Emas, Mukim Tebrau, District of Johor Bahru.
Haily said the project commencement would start on October 15, 2021, and the completion date for one unit show house, one unit mock-up, one single unit chamber TNB sub-station and one unit double chamber TNB sub-station are likely on March 14, 2022.
It added the completion date for the remaining 157 units of single-storey terrace houses shall be October 14, 2022.
"The board expect the LA to contribute positively to the company's earnings and net assets throughout the project, assuming no material delay in the timing."
