KUALA LUMPUR: Live commerce shopping platform Shoppymore is set to strengthen its position in live shopping and targets RM100 million in sales this year.
The company launched two new initiatives namelyShoppymore mobile app and its live commerce platform Watch Scan & Pay.
The company said its app was anticipated to drive business and further promote Malaysian products in the retail e-commerce sector by offering more accessible and quicker access anywhere and anytime.
Additionally, the live commerce initiative, Watch Scan and Pay, has been introduced specially to help sellers highlight and promote their products faster while reaching a wider audience.
"Through our 'Live Selling' and 'Live Shopping' platforms, they will also be able to close sales quicker," said chief executive officer Datuk Seri Dr Barani Karuna Karan.
He added that the live commerce segment was designed to facilitate and promote digital marketing, even for sellers with limited knowledge and experience.
"Our Malaysian entrepreneurs produce high-quality products that can and should be marketed internationally via digital platforms. We look forward to help our sellers build and digitise their businesses through the mobile app and the live commerce platform Watch, Scan & Pay," he said.
