KUALA LUMPUR: Haily Group Bhd (HGB) has secured a RM32.66 million construction contract from Nice Frontier Sdn Bhd (NFSB), a member of IOI Properties Group Bhd, to build 186 residential units for the Bandar Putra township within Iskandar Malaysia.
This contract, which is the third job clinched by HGB this year, brings the total contract value of its ongoing projects to RM657.87 million.
HGB founder and executive director See Tin Hai said this is another contract from NFSB that signals trust in the company's service delivery and quality of work.
"In less than three months of this year, we have secured total contracts worth RM148.79 million.
"With just these contracts, we are pleased to announce that we have exceeded the contract value secured in the entire last year.
"This puts us on track to achieve a stronger financial year in 2023. Haily is actively working towards securing more high-value projects this year," he said in a statement.
HGB's wholly subsidiary, Haily Construction Sdn Bhd, had on 10 March 2023 received a letter of award from JYP Architects Sdn Bhd, an architect appointed by NFSB for the construction of 186 units of single-storey terrace houses and one unit of Tenaga Nasional Bhd sub-station.
The houses, each measuring 24' x 75', will be located in Bandar Putra, Mukim of Senai, District of Kulai in the state of Johor. The contract will commence on 27 March 2023 and is scheduled to be completed in 15 months by 26 June 2024.
Earlier in November 2021, Haily bagged a RM14.57 million community housing project in Kulai from NFSB, which involves the construction of 216 strata townhouses measuring 20' x 60' each.
