KUALA LUMPUR: More than 80 awards recognising the outstanding contributions of business leaders in Southeast Asia were presented at the Des Prix Infinitus Media Leadership Excellence Awards 2022/2023 recently.
The event was held at the HGH Convention Centre in Sentul here.
The award recipients, who were evaluated by industry leaders and experts, were chosen in six categories for their outstanding achievements, exemplary leadership qualities and ability to drive positive change.
Among them were Datuk Dr Azlan Hussin from the National Heart Institute and Menteri Besar Incorporated Perak chief executive officer Anuar Zainal Abidin.
Present as guest of honour was Stanco Halal Industri Selangor chairman Mohd Fakhrulrazi Mohd Mokhtar.
"Leadership is not just about achieving great things. It's also about the people we touch along the way.
"It's about the relationships we build, the trust we earn and the impact we have on the lives of others," he said in his speech.
Meanwhile, Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry's franchise development and vendors division secretary Chek Zainuddin Chek Jusoh said in a statement: "As we face unprecedented challenges in today's economy, it is more important than ever to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that empowers our people and drives economic growth.
