Seacera Group's PN17 status lifted without submitting regularisation plan

KUALA LUMPUR: Seacera Group Bhd has managed to obtain Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd's (Bursa Securities) agreement to lift its Practice Note 17 status without submitting a regularisation plan.

Seacera will no longer be classifed as a PN17 company from 9.00 a.m. August 17, 2023.

According to filings with Bursa Securities, the regulator decided to grant Seacera the waiver to submit a regularisation plan, following applications to waive the requirement and to uplift its PN17 status, from the company.

In a separate statement by the regulator, Bursa Securities said it will continue to monitor the progress of PN17 and Guidance Note 3 (GN3) companies' compliance with the Main Market listing requirements and ACE Market listing requirements of Bursa Securities.

With the exclusion of Seacera, there are currently 26 companies classified as PN17 and one company classified as GN3 listed on Bursa Malaysia.

Seacera Group's share price last closed at 20.5 sen a share.
