KUALA LUMPUR: Ansat Broadcast Sdn Bhd and the Indonesian multinational conglomerate MNC Group have jointly introduced OK Vision, a television and content distribution service for subscribers in Malaysia.
OK Vision delivers content on its line-up of at least 35 channels via Direct-to-Home (DTH) services, enabling Malaysian viewers to access it through PT MNC Digital Entertainment using OK1000 devices connected to KU-Band Satellite antennas.
Major shareholder of U Telemedia that co-owns Ansat Broadcast, Tan Sri Datuk Seri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun says he is confident with the potential and prospects that OK Vision will unfold through the collaboration.
"By delivering a rich array of diverse and superior content choices, OK Vision is well positioned to capture a share in the local digital media and entertainment market," he added.
MNC Group executive chairman Hary Tanoesoedibjo said that the company is committed to elevate the realm of content distribution and recognise Ansat Broadcast's expertise and innovation as invaluable assets that align seamlessly with the vision.
"Our aim is to redefine the entertainment landscape, providing unparalleled experiences and meeting the diverse interests of audiences in Malaysia and Indonesia,' he said.
Hary also added this collaboration highlights the dedication in pushing boundaries and delivering content solutions for audiences at home.
The launch was attended by Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) chairman Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Fateh.
