Aneka Jaringan is profitable again with RM562,000 net profit in Q3

KUALA LUMPUR: Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd returned to profitability with a net profit of RM562,000 for the third quarter of the 2024 financial year (3QFY24), compared to a net loss of RM3.7 million in the same quarter of 2023.

The basement and foundation construction company posted a slight revenue increase from RM41.2 million to RM41.8 million.

"This consistent growth reflects the group's effective execution of projects and strategic initiatives, as well as the stable recovery in the construction industry," it said.

For the nine months ended May 31, 2024 (9MFY24), the company recorded a revenue of RM154.84 million, marking an increase of RM17.78 million compared to the same period in the previous year.

Aneka Jaringan managing director Pang Tse Fui said it is encouraging to see the company's continued growth and profitability, reflecting its dedication in navigating market challenges.

"Our financial results for the third quarter demonstrate our ability to execute effectively and manage our operations efficiently. Alongside our financial success, we have also been consistently securing new projects, further solidifying our position in the industry.

"As we move forward, we remain committed to delivering value to our stakeholders and driving sustainable growth," he added.

Pang said the company would remain focused on leveraging its order book, which stood at RM231.38 million as of May 31, 2024, by ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.
