The benchmark FBM KLCI opened higher, hovering at 1,628.70 points.
It will likely range between 1,620 and 1,630 points today.
On the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin was trending lower to RM307,782 as traders await news on the US interest rate decision on July 31.
Ethereum was also down to RM15,348 while Solana traded at RM850.
