KUALA LUMPUR: SP Setia Bhd says Datuk Choong Kai Wai continues to serve as its president and chief executive officer.
"With reference to the recent media article speculating that there could be a leadership change this week, SP Setia would like to clarify that the speculations are not true.
"Datuk Choong Kai Wai continues to serve as the president and CEO of SP Setia, bringing valuable leadership and experience to the organisation," the company said in a statement today.
"SP Setia will remain committed to achieving our strategic initiatives under Datuk Choong's guidance and look forward to his continued contributions to the company as we pursue our growth plans and deliver value to all stakeholders," the statement read.
The statement was issued in response to a news report that Choong was set to leave SP Setia.
