KUALA LUMPUR: Scanwolf Corporation Bhd's subsidiary Scanwolf Flooring Industries Sdn Bhd has secured multiple flooring supply contracts totaling RM16.1 million.
In a statement today, the company said the contracts were awarded by several construction and real estate companies to provide high-quality flooring products for various real estate projects in the Klang Valley area.
Including the above contracts, Scanwolf has a manufacturing order book of RM18.1 million as of July 31, 2024, which provides visibility into the company's earnings over the next one to two financial years.
"With the improvement of the domestic job market and the recovery of foreign direct investment, Malaysia's construction industry is entering a new growth cycle. "The contracts secured are expected to positively impact the profitability and net assets of the company during the supply period," it noted.
Looking ahead, Scanwolf said it will continue to focus on the research, development, and provision of innovative flooring products to meet evolving market needs and promote the sustainable development of the construction industry.
For the remainder of 2024, the company expects to secure tender opportunities worth RM14.3 million from the public sector, as well as ongoing orders from the business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), reseller and export market.
Scanwolf Flooring Industries Sdn Bhd has also been certified by the Singapore Green LabelScheme and MyHIJAU, a green certification program recognised by the Malaysian government.
The company said these certifications not only underscore the superior environmental performance of Scanwolf's products but also enhance its competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.
Scanwolf and its subsidiaries are involved in the manufacturing of plastics extrusion products, flooring and property development in Malaysia.
