KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia's (BNM) international reserves amounted to US$116.8 billion as at Aug 30, 2024.
"The reserves position is sufficient to finance 5.4 months of imports of goods and services, and is 1.0 times of the total short-term external debt," BNM said in a statement today.
Previously, the central bank said its international reserves amounted to US$113.3 billion as at July 15 compared to US$113.8 on June 28.
