Danesh: PowerPerfector offers cost savings, security for REITs, building owners

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian firms are turning to powerPerfector to maintain consistent power quality in commercial buildings and industrial sites, according to industry experts.

They said that building owners, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), hoteliers, manufacturers, and other industrial facilities are increasingly adopting powerPerfector to ensure efficient operations and better cost management.

P. Danesh, business development director of Enerco Solutions Sdn Bhd, noted that powerPerfector can help companies save hundreds of thousands of ringgit annually.

He told Business Times that it can offer significant benefits for owners and managers of real estate investment trusts (REIT) in Malaysia.

"The energy savings achieved through its use can directly improve profitability. Lower operational costs lead to higher net operating income and improved returns for investors. Additionally, energy-efficient buildings become more attractive to both tenants and investors," Danesh explained.

"By adopting powerPerfector, REIT owners can increase property value, attract a wider range of tenants, and improve tenant satisfaction. A comfortable and energy-efficient environment often results in longer lease terms."

He added that powerPerfector ensures that electrical equipment operates at peak efficiency, helping to create such environments.

Enerco Solutions, an authorised partner for the UK-based powerPerfector in Southeast Asia, has secured numerous contracts post-COVID-19 as businesses seek energy-saving solutions.

Manufactured in the UK and the Czech Republic to stringent Japanese standards, powerPerfector is a voltage optimisation system designed to regulate and optimise the voltage supplied to electrical equipment.

This results in benefits such as increased energy efficiency, reduced electricity consumption, and extended equipment lifespan.

"In high-consumption buildings, powerPerfector systems can deliver energy savings of up to 21 per cent, a fast payback period, and protection for electromechanical equipment from low power quality issues such as voltage surges and dips, which are common in both continental and island regions," Danesh explained.

He said that by lowering energy usage, the system also reduces carbon footprints, contributing to environmental sustainability.

Additionally, powerPerfector extends the lifespan of IT equipment and reduces maintenance costs.

"The system was developed with energy conservation in mind, using high-quality materials that provide excellent performance (99.94 per cent) even at full power," Danesh concluded.

Enerco Solution recently received the MyHijau certification, an important distinction as it allows clients to apply for the Green Investment Tax Allowance (GITA) under the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC).

"With stricter environmental regulations, REIT owners and managers, along with other building owners, must ensure compliance. PowerPerfector assists by reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions," Danesh added.
