Bursa Malaysia's 30-stock key index closed lower today, taking cue from negative performance on global equities due to strong selling on tech stocks.
This came after chip equipment maker ASML cut its annual sales forecast over weak non-AI chip demand.
FBM KLCI lost zero point five seven per cent or nine points to one thousand six hundred thirty two.
The key index is expected to range between one thousand six hundred thirty and one thousand six hundred fifty this week.
The ringgit eased to four point two nine zero zero against the US dollar.
In the crypto market, Bitcoin rose to two hundred eighty seven seven hundred fifty five ringgit.
Ethereum traded at eleven thousand one hundred eighty three ringgit while Solana rose to six hundred sixty two ringgit.
