KUALA LUMPUR: BPE Energy Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of innovative energy solutions in Malaysia, has introduced Eudosia remote power turbine (ERPT) in collaboration with Italian company Eudosia Sistemi Power Solution.
The collaboration between the two companies marks a significant milestone in the advancement of energy technology.
"It underscores the commitment of both companies to delivering innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of the energy industry," BPE Energy said.
According to a joint statement, the product introduction aligns with the global target of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
"ERPT is a power generating system for remote applications that is the alternative solution to solar and wind systems. It is based on the thermodynamic Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC), which is a closed cycle where organic fluid vapours rotate a turbo- alternator to generate electric power," the company said.
By providing a clean and efficient power solution, the ERPT contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating climate change.
It is also an outdoor power generating equipment designed to operate in remote and extreme environments from the arctic to the hottest desert passing through offshore and tropical applications.
The product is based on proven technology, providing many years of high reliability and low maintenance operations.
Additionally, it has no ageing of critical parts and requires a very simple annual maintenance activity reducing the impacts of maintenance costs.
Eudosia Sistemi director Luca Albizzati said with the ERPT Turbine, the company is unlocking a new frontier in the power generation industry through the innovation of high-tech integrated systems, with a reliable solution, compact in dimension and with low maintenance costs.
"The ERPT is the new product for the future, a product that looks to become an example on the market being environmentally friendly, high performance and concentrating on the newest engineering and technology.
"This has been a huge challenge and is in line with Eudosia Sistemi Power Solutions mission We promise what we can deliver, and we deliver what we promised," he added.
The product was introduced at a dedicated seminar held on Nov 14 this year.
It was attended by the Malaysian Oil, Gas & Energy Services Council vice president Zahris Sham Abu Musa.
