KUALA LUMPUR: EPB Group Bhd, a food processing and packaging machinery solutions provider, posted a 22 per cent higher net profit of RM3.14 million for the third quarter ended Sept 30 2024.
It recorded a revenue of RM38.48 million, contributing to a total revenue of RM77.69 million for the nine-month period.
The Q3 recenue was 82.13 per cent more than the RM21.13 million recorded in immediately preceding quarter.
"This significant growth was driven primarily by higher delivery of customer orders in the food processing and packaging machinery solutions segment, as well as increased orders in the flexible packaging materials business," EPB said today.
EPB managing director Yeoh Chee Min said the strong growth in revenue and profitability demonstrates the effectiveness of its strategic focus on scaling production and meeting customer demand.
"With a robust order book of RM80.70 million as at Oct 31 2024, we are confident in sustaining this momentum and driving long-term growth," Yeoh added.
EPB remains optimistic about its prospects for the remainder of 2024.
The completion of ongoing projects and the fulfilment of its strong order book are expected to contribute to its overall performance for the year, it said.
