KUALA LUMPUR: Ecobuilt Holdings Bhd has been given until Jan 8 to submit its annual report for financial period ended Aug 31, 2024 or risk facing trading suspension on Jan 9.
The company failed to submit its annual report that includes the annual audited financial statements together with the auditors' and directors' reports in respect of the financial period, within the stipulated timeframe on Dec 31, 2024.
Pursuant to the listing requirements, trading for the company will be suspended if it fails to issue the outstanding financial statements within five market days after the expiry of the relevant timeframes, which is on Jan 8.
Delisting procedures for the company will take place if it fails to issue the financial statements within six months from the expiry of the relevant timeframes.
Ecobuilt previously said the delay was due to the additional time needed by the external auditors to complete their audit of the financial statements for the financial period ended Aug 31, 2024.
At midday, Ecobuilt's share price was down by one sen or 28.57 per cent to 2.5 sen for a market capitalisation of RM9.2 million.
