Ni Hsin seeks SC nod on raising fund via token crowdfunding

KUALA LUMPUR: Ni Hsin Group Bhd's subsidiary Ni Hsin EV Tech Sdn Bhd has received conditional approval from Pitch Platforms Sdn Bhd (pitchIN) to host its token crowdfunding campaign (TCF) on pitchIN's TCF platform.

As such, pitchIN has submitted Ni Hsin EV's white paper and relevant application documents to the Securities Commission (SC) for its review and approval.

Ni Hsin has introduced the Bicon digital token ($Bixon), a new step toward enhancing the global electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.

The initiative combines blockchain tokenisation with green mobility, aiming to improve carbon tracking and make EV adoption more accessible.

This approach is designed to support the transition to eco-friendly transportation.

Developed in collaboration with Masverse, a Malaysian blockchain technology firm, $Bixon operates on MasChain, a Malaysian-built Layer-1 blockchain known for its security, scalability and transparency.

With pitchIN, a registered market operator (RMO), ensuring compliance, the $Bixon token issuance offers a regulated and investor-focused platform.

Ni Hsin EV managing director Khoo Chee Kong said the ecosystem goes beyond EV adoption - it redefines value creation by embedding blockchain-driven carbon tracking into everyday commutes and corporate fleet solutions.

"By addressing carbon emissions transparently, $Bixon is not just a token but a benchmark for sustainable business innovation.

"Through this bold initiative, Ni Hsin EV is not just leading change but defining a movement – a movement where green transportation becomes accessible, rewarding, and transparent," Khoo said in a statement.

The $Bixon introduces an innovative Ride-to-Earn programme, incentivising eco-friendly commuting while enabling businesses to transition to electric fleets with Ni Hsin's groundbreaking zero-capex model.

The approach significantly lowers barriers to EV adoption, reducing operational costs and environmental footprints while offering measurable returns for investors and stakeholders.
