BY now, you've probably seen many of your friends' Facebook posts starring avatars.
That's because the social network has just launched the feature in Malaysia.
"With so much of our lives taking place online right now, we're excited to give more people a way to convey their authentic identity when expressing themselves on Facebook," the company said in a statement.
The avatars allow users to create a digital persona that's uniquely representative of them and will enable them to share a range of emotions and expressions in a fun and personalised way.
These include unique facial features, hairstyles and outfits.
"You'll also be able to share a range of emotions and expressions via stickers in comments, Messenger, and stories that are uniquely representative of you," the company said.
The avatar creator can be accessed from Bookmarks in the FB app, as well as from the comment composer.
