KUALA LUMPUR: It is almost certain that Apple will be opening its first Apple Store in Malaysia, as it began to advertise for staff members at their recruitment website.
The rumour about Apple planning its official store here was first heard in 2021, but this was proven to be true recently when it posted a list of 11 positions on their Jobs at Apple website, days after a twitter user named Fazli Halim (@fazlihalimmedia) tweeted a picture of what appears to be several staff members working on an Apple logo whilst being surrounded by scaffolding at the Tun Razak Exchange complex (TRX).
Furthermore, the listing includes job opportunities for a position for the Manager, Store Leader, Operations Expert, Business Expert, and many more.
The store is expected to open in TRX, making Malaysia the 6th Apple Store in this region.
With the opening of the store, Apple users can expect to get their hands on new Apple devices as early as other countries.
