Talk about pedaling in style and luxury – Louis Vuitton has released a collection of bicycles called the LV Bike, made in collaboration with Maison Tamboite, an artisanal Paris-based bike-maker that's been around for more than 100 years.
Perfect for a ride around the neighbourhood or the city, the collection carries four variants in colours like red, blue, yellow and black and are available in two models; one with a basket in front and the other with a luggage rack that can be adjusted with an elastic strap.
The bikes are elegant with key features like a monogrammed flower chain set, an interlocking 'LV' shaped frame, and carefully selected leather that wraps the saddle and handlebars.
RETRO VIBES
Although it comes with modern features like the LED lighting, built-in tracker and shock absorbers under the seat, the design is very much retro as it is a reinterpretation of Maison Tamboite's classic model.
Some old school touches like the mudguards and wheel trims branded in Louis Vuitton perfect the overall retro vibe too.
The bikes can also be personalised with one's initials across the frame or below the saddle.
According to the website, the bike carries a hefty price tag of 22,000 Euros (RM108,764) and is now available at all Louis Vuitton stores worldwide.
