KUALA LUMPUR: After four years of courtship, K-pop idol and BigBang member, Taeyang, officially tied the knot with actress Min Hyo Rin at a church in Gyeonggi Province of Seoul yesterday.
In what was described as the “wedding of the year” in the world of K-pop, their Twilight-inspired forest-themed wedding reception held at Paradise City Hotel in Incheon drew attention, with its dreamy lights and enchanting flowers, resulting in a fairytale setting.
Taeyang looked dashing in a suit, while Min was stunning in a classic white strapless wedding dress designed by Suzan Lee.
According to a statement released by YG Entertainment, it said: “The wedding ceremony that took place on Feb 3 went very well thanks to the love and attention they received.
“It was officiated by actor Ki Tae Yong, and Zion T sang the congratulatory song.”
The wedding was a star-studded event with many notable faces in the K-pop industry present.
