KUALA LUMPUR: Jennie of popular K-Pop girl group BlackPink had a painful experience recently at Incheon International Airport in Seoul.
According to Koreaboo, while the South Korean music quartet was being ushered at the airport, a stranger in the crowd had hit Jennie on her ankle with her moving luggage.
The act was apparently caught on camera by fans and the footage featured of a woman wearing a cap coming right up behind Jennie.
When band member Jisoo asked if Jennie was alright, she seemed to have mouthed back that it hurt.
Looking like she was in pain, Jennie was later seen resting her head on Jisoo’s shoulders.
Fans quickly speculated that the act was intentional since there was no reason for the stranger to get so close to Jennie, especially when the security team had formed a ring around the band members.
Many claimed that it was an anti-fan attacking Jennie on purpose.
Thankfully, the beautiful talent is now alright and able to continue with the group's ongoing promotions and events.
On a different note, BlackPink's music video for its latest song, DDU-DU DDU-DU, has recently garnered over 300 million views on YouTube.
According to Soompi, the music video achieved the milestone amount in slightly over two months.
This breaks the record held by BTS' DNA, which took over five month to surpass the
300 million mark, making it the fastest K-Pop group music video to do so.
BlackPink’s latest hit song music video is also the third to receive over 300 million views, after BOOMBAYAH and As If It’s Your Last.
