#Showbiz: BTS puts on 'Idol' show on 'Good Morning America'

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular K-Pop titan BTS is currently in the US in conjunction with its Love Yourself world tour.

Yesterday the seven-member group made a guest appearance on the Good Morning America TV show in New York.

According to Soompi, the boys talked about how their fans, dubbed Army, were the reason for their success.

Band member RM also shared how he felt during BTS’ speech at the United Nations for UNICEF earlier this week during the interview segment.

The South Korean music outfit then proceeded to wow TV viewers and the live audience with a performance of its latest hit Idol in the studio.

Known for their sizzling and tight dance moves, the boys had also showed the hosts prior to the performance on how to execute some of the moves from the Idol choreography.

The catchy track is taken from BTS’ latest release Love Yourself: Answer, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Idol also spent three weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100 and peaked at No. 11.

BTS will be performing at Citi Field in New York City, which will make the group the first-ever Korean artiste to stage a solo stadium concert in America.

The rest of BTS’ world tour will see the K-Pop outfit performing at various venues in the North American, European and Asian regions. Tickets for all of the shows have apparently been sold out.
