KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza turning the big 4-0 today became such a hot topic on social media, she bagged three spots on the Twitter topic trending list!
#sitigolden40th sat at No. 1, “TokTi” came in second and #SitiNurhaliza was in the fourth spot, falling shortly behind K-pop star Junhyung.
Despite the spotlight shining extra bright on her, the Anta Permana singer remained humble and coy over the massive attention given.
She reposted the trending list that was originally shared by her sister-in-law Rozi Abdul Razak, who is also her manager.
In the caption accompanying the screenshot, Siti wrote: “Segan pun ada ni…Alhamdulillah, terima kasih banyak banyak ye.” (I feel a little shy.. alhamdullillah.. thank you so much).
Later, Siti, through a series of insta-story videos, expressed her gratitude to fans and followers alike for sending her their prayers and birthday wishes
“Thank you for praying for me, only God can repay your kindness. Alhamdulillah, at 40 I hope that God will continue to bless me with good health and increase my iman.
“I also pray that I will always be loved since to be loved by so many people is clearly not a privilege everyone gets.
“I hope that I will remain grounded and humble always. May God bless all of you,” she said.
