#Showbiz: IRB's blacklisting of me is unreasonable, says Diana Danielle

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Datin Diana Danielle is unable to travel overseas for work as she owes RM350,000 to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).

And the board, she has claimed, had blacklisted her without prior notice.

“Recently when I was preparing to go to Japan for a new project, I learnt that I couldn’t travel abroad as the LHDN (IRB) had blacklisted me. Yes, I owe them outstanding tax but they too owe me RM100,000, and I’ve been seeking that rebate since last year,” said Diana in a news report today.

The 27-year-old artiste also claimed that the board did not furnish any document to substantiate their demand.

“We had earlier decided that my debt be reduced to RM150,000. They’re not being reasonable by demanding that I pay up the full amount immediately. I was also asked to pay RM70,000 upfront before I could go overseas. This is too much,” said Diana who won Best Supporting Actress for Hanyut at the Malaysian Film Festival 2017.
