KUALA LUMPUR: Celebrity Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor, via her tudung brand Naelofar, will be contributing 100 per cent of the profits from product sales for May 29 and 30 exclusively to charity.
The 32-year-old former TV host and actress said that the profits will be channeled to the Naelofar For Humanity x MyFundAction fund to aid the people of Palestine.
"Through this Naelofar For Humanity campaign, my objective is to bring awareness towards what's happening in Palestine among consumers, as well as providing aid to rebuild Gaza.
"So 100 per cent of the profits from this campaign will be distributed to the Naelofar For Humanity x MyFundAction fund," she said in a news report yesterday.
Neelofa hopes that the initiative will provide some relief to the Palestinians who are currently suffering due to the ongoing conflict in their homeland.
"God-willing, I hope this effort will help to lessen their troubles during their time of need now," she said.
Aside from Neelofa, the campaign also includes other popular artistes such as Kilafairy, Wany Hasrita and Amira Othman.
The charity event will be carried out at all Naelofar sales channels, namely at Naelofar.com, Naelofar TTDI, Setia Alam, One Utama, Sogo and Isetan.
