KUALA LUMPUR: After releasing its own McDonald's-themed Happy Meal, K-Pop juggernaut BTS has now associated itself with HY Coffee.
7-Eleven Malaysia recently introduced two new BTS-themed HY Coffee choices at all of its outlets in Peninsular Malaysia.
The limited edition BTS HY Coffee was reported to consist of the 270ml Cold Brew Americano which comes in bold black, and the 270ml Hot Brew Vanilla Latte which comes in glamorous gold.
Priced at RM11.90 each, the exclusive variants each feature the images of the seven members of the international K-Pop group, namely J-hope, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Suga and V.
7-Eleven Malaysia hinted that a BTS coffee range would also be released soon.
Last year, the company had released another set of limited edition BTS HY Coffee which featured each of the group's members on individual packaging.
Meanwhile, BTS continues to dominate Billboard's World Album chart for the week ending on June 12.
Soompi reported that the group has a total of seven albums in the top 15 range with Map Of The Soul: 7 at the No.1 spot.
BTS' latest single Butter also opened at No.1 on the current Billboard Global 200 chart.
Forbes reported that the track had 289.2 million plays on streaming platforms and 249,000 copies sold during the tracking week that started on May 21 and wrapped on May 27.
Those were apparently record-breaking figures.
Fans of BTS are also looking forward to upcoming online events this month as part of the 2021 FESTA celebrations in conjunction with the music outfit's 8th anniversary.
BTS Room Live is set to happen on Friday which will feature exciting and rare performances, while on Sunday, the group will kick off its Sowoozoo event, which is a two-day online live-streaming concert.
