KUALA LUMPUR: Kuching Waterfront Jazz Festival, better known as Kuching Jazz, is back after a two-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The music event, synonymous with Sarawak's capital city, will be held at Grand Margherita Kuching's waterfront between Oct 28 and 29.
Ten artistes known for their jazz music set to perform at the festival include Noryn Aziz, Indonesian Afgan, Thai singer-songwriter Phum Viphurit, Australian Freyja Garbett and Dawn Wong & The Ark Royal from Singapore.
Its organiser Hemisphere Corporation said that the performers and musicians chosen for the two-night festival are the "the best gift" to the music lovers after the two-year entertainment vacuum.
"We're confident that the event will be well-attended, seeing that we haven't organised this in the last two years due to Covid-19," said Hemisphere Corporation's chief executive officer Mark Ferguson in a statement today.
Day passes, priced from RM90 to RM350, are available from www.kuchingjazz.com.
