KUALA LUMPUR: Irish pop singer Ronan Keating kept 4,700 Malaysian fans thoroughly entertained at his Ronan Keating Live In Malaysia 2023 concert tonight.
Fans cheered, applauded and sang along with their idol throughout his two-hour concert at the Arena Of Stars in Resorts World Genting at 8.30pm.
Keating's concert, which fans described as an evening of "musical magic", saw the Boyzone lead singer serenade Malaysians with 20 of his greatest hits, including When You Say Nothing At All, No Matter What, Picture Of You, Father And Son and Baby Can I Hold You.
The concert of 46-year-old Keating was organised by MIC Entertainment Group and marked the singer's comeback to Malaysia after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Keating debuted in the early 1990s with the now-defunct Boyzone – one of the most well-known boybands of its generation with a long list of chart-topping singles that swept across the world.
Joining the ranks of other Irish musicians with a global presence, including Westlife, of which he was a co-manager, Keating has sold over 20 million records worldwide as a solo artiste and 25 million records with Boyzone.
Over the years, Keating has made a name for himself not just as a singer and songwriter but also as a television host, actor and campaigner for cancer awareness.
