KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian model and actress Sandra Lim is thrilled to be starring in the new TVB series The Heir To The Throne.
Her biggest project on the popular Hong Kong television network, she also got to film her first on-screen kiss with popular Hong Kong actor Raymond Lam on the show.
In the series, Lam's character cheats on his girlfriend with Lim, 23, and they have two kissing scenes together.
In a recent interview, Lim said she felt a little nervous at first but quickly warmed up as Lam, 44, was a gentleman.
"I hesitated to take on the role at first but eventually decided to go for it.
"I mentally prepared myself before the shoot. When the director said I had to lie on top of Raymond, I was a bit surprised but quickly adjusted well," she said.
Lim praised Lam's professionalism throughout the shoot, adding that the actor was very considerate and kind.
She said that Lam would strike a conversation with her before shooting began and would thank her for her hard work after filming ended.
"I greatly respect his professionalism. I also want to especially thank him for his care, which helped us complete the shoot smoothly and comfortably," she said, adding that she would cherish that moment forever.
The Heir To The Throne was partially shot in Kuala Lumpur and premiered last Monday.
Other Malaysian stars in the series include Jestinna Kuan, Joey Leong, Feon Lai and Ruby Yap.
