KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Riena Diana said that entering a relationship with actor Keith Foo was "not a problem".
She said that Foo, 41, may be a single father but what is important is he is "single and available".
Riena, 27, said that she would never enter a relationship with another woman's husband for that would make her a marriage-wrecker.
"I wouldn't be too close to Keith if he were a married man.
"But he isn't and so long as both our families are okay, nothing can stop us from getting closer," she said.
Riena was speaking at a press conference to announce the new season of the reality show I Can See Your Voice Malaysia 7 (ICSYVM 7) in Petaling Jaya recently.
She said that she and Foo were still getting to know each other better and have found that they have a lot in common.
They became close on the set of the coming drama series Salju Rindu which will be screened on TV3 in August.
"We have only got to know each other over the last two months. Let's pray that our relationship will grow stronger."
Riena was previously engaged to Nik Afiq but their relationship came to an end late last year.
Foo was married to Kim Raymond from 2015 to 2019 and they have a 7-year-old daughter Skylar.
In the reality show, Riena joins fellow artistes Naim Daniel, Bell Ngasri and Siti Khadijah Halim in finding out a mystery singer.
ICSYVM 7 will run for 11 weekly episodes on TV3 beginning Sunday.
It is co-hosted by singers Shiha Zikir and Izzue Islam.
