KUALA LUMPUR: "I love Malaysian food. Among those I've tried was the delicious rendang," said award-winning British singer Dua Lipa, who also liked the coffee she had here.
The 29-year-old was quoted as saying this in a recent Harian Metro report.
She was here twice in the past, in 2017 and 2018.
Among other things she remembered were how she loved Malaysians and the vibes she absorbed from her fans here.
"I also experienced beautiful mornings there," said Lipa, who was thrilled about her upcoming visit to Kuala Lumpur to perform at 'Dua Lipa Radical Optimism Asia Tour' at Bukit Jalil's Axiata Arena on Nov 23.
This will be her second concert in Kuala Lumpur.
During her first visit in 2017, Lipa performed at the Good Vibes Festival in Genting Highlands, Pahang, and the following year, she held her first concert here at KL Live, Life Centre in the city centre.
Being an avid traveller, she also hoped to be able to explore more during her visit.
"Wherever I go, I like to create a new routine, no matter how small it can be, like searching for a good cuppa and pastry.
"Walking around absorbing a new atmosphere and experiencing new things are always at the top of my travel itinerary.
"I don't want to be going around the world without ever experiencing or seeing different cultures."
Among the places she had visited here before were the Hindu temple in Batu Caves, savouring food at Jalan Alor, and checking out a mural of herself at the Datuk Keramat LRT station.
