#SHOWBIZ: Noh Salleh remembers stillborn baby on wedding anniversary

KUALA LUMPUR: Rock singer Noh Salleh of Hujan lost his stillborn baby boy Julian seven months ago.

The 39-year-old Sarawakian singer shared on Instagram that he and his wife Fatin Athira Mustapa had accepted their stillborn baby's death as God's will.

"Sept 22 marks seven months we lost our baby boy Julian who was stillborn," said Noh.

He added: "We tried really hard to make sure that he would arrive safe and healthy, but alas, God loves him more."

Noh also said that he and his wife were thankful to be surrounded by family members and close friends who gave them strong support and sympathy in their moments of silent grief.

"We thank God for giving us Julian, even if it was for seven months. Rest in eternal peace, Julian."

The post was accompanied by a short video clip at an undisclosed Muslim cemetery where Noh was seen burying his stillborn baby.

"This post is in conjunction with my wedding anniversary tomorrow. Our first wedding anniversary but it feels like 20 years because of all the things that we've been through," he said.

Previously, Noh was married to singer-songwriter turned entrepreneur Mizz Nina from 2011 to 2022.

During their 11-year marriage they adopted a son named Musa.

Noh tied the knot with Fatin Athira on Sept 23 last year.
