KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Fattah Amin continues to captivate fans, with his popularity attracting brands and leading to new projects.
His latest endeavour includes starring in the music video for singer Aina Abdul's latest single, Jadi Ajar Aku.
In an Instagram post yesterday, Aina, 31, expressed gratitude for Fattah's participation.
"Thanks to Fattah for agreeing to be in this music video.
"It was quite unnerving when we first approached (his manager) to propose for this project. Praise be to God, he said 'Yes'," she wrote.
Aina revealed that her mother inspired the casting choice.
After hearing the song when Aina composed it in April, her mother suggested that a male lead would enhance the video.
"So when the recording of the song was completed, she said, 'Why don't you ask Fattah Amin to be the hero in the music video?"
The music video premiered on YouTube yesterday and quickly gained traction, attracting over 30,000 views from fans within 24 hours.
