GET ready for a dazzling night of music and empowerment as three remarkable singers take the stage at the 'Farmasi Soundzation Concert' on Nov 30 at Megastar Arena in Kuala Lumpur.
The star-studded lineup includes Indonesia's iconic Bunga Citra Lestari (BCL), rising talent Ghea Indrawari and Malaysia's multi-talented entertainer Elly Mazlein.
For music lovers, this is more than just another concert; it's a celebration of talent, resilience and the artistry of three women who've conquered the music world in their own unique ways.
Return to her second home
For BCL, as fans affectionately know her, Malaysia is like a second home.
Fresh off her successful performance here in January 2023, the beloved Indonesian songstress is thrilled to make her return.
"Performing in Malaysia always excites me," BCL says.
"This time, it's even more special because I'll be sharing the stage with Ghea Indrawari, a talented singer I had the privilege of mentoring during 'Indonesian Idol' in 2018."
BCL watched Ghea's journey unfold from a fresh-faced contestant to a rising star in the Indonesian music scene.
"Seeing her growth as an artiste is inspiring and now, we're performing together — it feels surreal."
Fans can expect an electrifying one-hour performance from BCL, packed with her signature hits and soulful renditions.
A debut to remember
Making her highly anticipated Malaysian debut, Ghea is all set to charm the audience with her heartfelt vocal and captivating stage presence.
Known for her breakout hit 'Jiwa Yang Bersedih', Ghea is ready to introduce herself to a new crowd.
"As this is my first time performing in Malaysia, I want to make it unforgettable," says the 26-year-old from West Kalimantan.
"I've prepared a special performance for the concert, and I hope to connect with Malaysian fans through my music."
Ghea's journey has been nothing short of remarkable, transitioning from an 'Indonesian Idol' finalist to a sought-after singer in Indonesia.
Her hour-long set promises to showcase the depth of her talent and passion for music.
The quintessential entertainer
Adding a uniquely Malaysian flair to the evening is the vibrant and ever-entertaining Elly Mazlein.
Known for her versatility as a singer, host and TV personality, Elly's lively energy is set to light up the stage.
"Elly isn't just a singer, but she's also a performer who knows how to connect with the audience.
"Her humour and charm make her the perfect bridge between the two Indonesian powerhouses," says project and concert director Ellie G.
Elly will treat fans to a 30-minute set filled with her signature hits and possibly some surprises, ensuring an unforgettable experience for concertgoers.
A night of music, beauty and empowerment
Beyond the music, the 'Farmasi Soundzation Concert' carries a deeper message of empowerment.
Each of these talented women embodies confidence, resilience and a passion for their craft, making them perfect ambassadors for the event's theme of celebrating women in music and beauty.
While the spotlight is on the performers, the event wouldn't be possible without the efforts of Farmasi, a beauty brand from Turkiye, which has recently set up its office in Malaysia, its first base for the region.
The concert marks Farmasi's foray into the local entertainment scene, merging the worlds of music, culture, and beauty.
"Selecting these three performers wasn't easy," said project chairman Datuk Safizan Ikhzani.
"We were determined to bring together artistes who not only entertain, but also inspire through their stories and talent.
"We're thrilled that BCL, Ghea and Elly have agreed to be part of this special night."
The 'Farmasi Soundzation Concert' promises two and a half hours of spectacular performances, uniting fans from Malaysia and Indonesia in a shared celebration of music and artistry.
