MEDICAL frontliners from the Sarawak State Health Department in Kuching now get to rest their weary bodies after their long shifts at a four-star hotel located in the heart of the capital.
The Riverside Majestic Hotel has allocated a total of 50 rooms from its Astana Wing. To make it even easier and safer for the medical staff, Chong Realty Estate is providing transportation to ferry them to the hotel.
Aside of that, few hotels and buildings in Kuching have also lighted up their buildings with heart shaped designs to share a message of love for all during this challenging time.
"We believe during this difficult time, it is important to be there for one another. Carrying on with whatever aspects of work that we can with a heart,β said Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) chief executive officer Sharzede Datu Haji Salleh Askor.
She said other organisations have also stepped-up to contribute and provide help.
βIt is wonderful to see how these organisations have come together with such acts of kindness, taking responsibility for the comfort and well-being of our hardworking frontliners, who have put their own lives on the line, for the public good,β she added, sending her thoughts, love and prayers to all frontliners to be safe and strong.
