#JOM: Fostering culture of filial piety

MDMT008, together with OE EduGroup and Gotraz, recently hosted a "Thanksgiving Dinner" at Avani Sepang GoldCoast Resort, Malaysia's only five-star palm tree resort.

This special event, held on June 15 and themed "Let Love Illuminate Parents' Day," gathered families, including respected elders, residents of elderly homes, single-parent families, and children, for a heartwarming evening.

The event began with a grand lighting ceremony featuring 10,000 flowers, which illuminated the night like stars, creating a magical atmosphere. Participants were captivated by the warm glow of the flowers and shared in this unique visual spectacle.

As night fell, guests enjoyed the serene sunset over the sea from the tranquil shore. The golden sunset, reflected on the water, added a touch of romance to this special evening.

In addition, the event featured various interactive family games designed to promote good communication and unity among family members. Professional photographers from Mins Studio captured unforgettable family photos, leaving cherished memories for each family.

The event also included a performance by renowned singer Xiao Weiwei and a live band, adding energy and warmth to the scene. A sand painting video and a slideshow of parents' photos were also displayed, fostering a warm and touching culture of gratitude.

The organiser stated that the event aimed to provide an unforgettable experience for families, allowing them to relax and deepen their relationships, adding warmth to Parents' Day. This year, Happy Happy Group also invited the elderly, single mothers, and children to celebrate together, conveying warmth and care so that every family could feel the joy and happiness of the festival.

MDMT008, in collaboration with OE EduGroup and Gotraz, provided a unique experience for all participating families, allowing love to shine brightly on this special night. The company extended its gratitude to all participants and event sponsors, including Redefined Mortgage, Rainmakers, Zero, and Vbid Construction, whose generous sponsorship and enthusiastic support made the event possible, bringing warmth and happiness to every family.

The company hopes that "Let Love Illuminate Parents' Day - Thanksgiving Dinner" will become an annual tradition, providing an opportunity to revisit filial piety and express gratitude.

"By working together to uphold and promote the culture of filial piety, families can become more harmonious and happy through their respect for elders. We look forward to gathering again next year to continue lighting up the night of Parents' Day with love and gratitude," it said.
