KUALA LUMPUR: Honda Malaysia's soon-to-launch WR-V has already received 2,500 units of booking within the one month it was announced.
The total figures of the new 1.5L compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) also suggests the availability of four different variants: S, E, V, and the premium RS.
Leaked estimated percentages puts the high spec RS as the favourite making up 45 per cent of the bookings.
This is followed by the V at 38 per cent, 12 per cent for the E, and the lowest spec S variant at 5 per cent.
Honda says that Malaysia's WR-V model will share its specifications with that of Indonesia and Thailand, with the only differences is us receiving the headlight adjuster, while missing out on the decorative roof rails on the RS model as well as a dual-tone colour scheme.
No pricing has been given with more details of the model to be known upon launch.
