KUALA LUMPUR: Interactive channel for pre-schoolers ZooMoo TV will host a series of roadshows in the Klang Valley and Penang beginning Saturday.
The roadshow will begin at Sunway Carnival Mall, Penang on Saturday, followed by Sunway Putra Mall here on Sunday and Sunway Pyramid (Sept 24 till 27).
This is in conjunction with the premiere of its new TV programme Lost on Sept 16 at 5pm over ZooMoo TV (Astro Channel 619).
Lost revolves around Flash, ZooMoo’s resident wildlife photographer, who finds himself lost in different wildlife habitats.
At the roadshows, children can participate in various activities such as colouring, and making arts and craft.
The highlight of the roadshows is a special appearance by Flash who will meet attendees and share animal facts.
ZooMoo is also launching an animal card campaign, in partnership with Sunway Shopping Malls where shoppers who spend more than RM50 in a single receipt at any of the three malls can redeem a pack of animal cards. The cards will integrate with the free ZooMoo App while enhancing viewers’ experience of ZooMoo TV.
“Kids love playing with smart phones or tablets. Parents these days also understand that these devices are an integral tool in enriching a child’s learning experience.
“The ZooMoo App was created with an understanding that a child can learn more about animals when watching ZooMoo on TV while simultaneously engaging with the ZooMoo App.
“The ZooMoo animal cards enhance the learning experience further and provide young users with a holistic learning experience, while giving them a tangible tool that they can collect, keep and trade with fellow fans offline,” said ZooMoo Network general manager Catherine Nebauer at the launch of Lost in Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa recently.
ZooMoo, an interactive channel which was launched in November last year, explores the animal world in an entertaining yet educational method. The content is developed by leading childhood learning specialists.
