KUALA LUMPUR: While traditional advertising remains the foundation of businesses, media owners have started making impressive strides in producing and integrating branded content as a means to improving marketing effectiveness for clients.
Media Prima Bhd, in collaboration with the 4As, is organising a Branded Content workshop on September 22 at Balai Berita, Bangsar, to assist 4As members understand and produce more effective Branded Content campaigns for the benefit of clients.
“Consumer engagement is a critical component in advertising in which Branded Content, alongside social media and interactive play a vital role in encouraging conversations about brands, products and services,” said 4As president Datuk Johnny Munt.
“Branded Content offers greater depth while reinforcing a brand’s core values with a fresh creative vigour.”
Branded Content, broadly known as a “fusion” of advertising and entertainment, created to provide consumers with satisfying and meaningful experiences, is largely touted as an effective marketing communications tool by advertising industry leaders.
The workshop, titled “How To Get It On,” is a half-day session planned and conducted by Media Prima’s senior executives.
Featured topics include exploring various platforms, the media landscape with emphasis on branded content, interesting case studies and naturally, how to get on.
“Branded Content campaigns offer our members an additional source of income while creating a new avenue for clients to achieve their marketing goals,” Mun added.
“Branded Content cultivates brand trust — which in turn breeds consumer loyalty.”
The workshop promises to be an interesting and enlightening experience for all who had signed up.
