KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) expects to sell its newly-launched small and medium enterprise (SME) retail solution offering, Shop in A Box, to 40,000 customers within two years.
Executive Vice-President for SME, Azizi A Hadi, said the target customers would comprise new TM customers as well as its existing broadband customer base of 350,000.
He said Shop In A Box offers a number of service clusters like payment and collection solution, market reach and customer experience besides being GST-ready.
“Shop In A Box will enable retailers to increase productivity and subsequently their business profits by using simple yet affordable, bundled value-added services.
“This is in line with our aspiration to become the preferred ICT partner for SMEs in Malaysia by 2016,” he told a press conference after the launch of Shop In A Box here today together with two cluster services for payment – SurePay and SurePay Point of Sale (POS).
The two services provide payment flexibility and convenience especially for small businesses in suburban areas. -- Bernama
